^ this, swapping heads and an intake is a pretty big change. You will need a retune no matter what. wait until you get an LS6 intake on there and everything together the way you want it and then get it tuned. (yes a good tune is going to cost ~$500 give or take depending, but it's your motor you're talking about, do you really want to cheap out now? you do get what you pay for) a MAF tune would be totally suitable for that car. My SD tune is just fine on my car, But I have a little more wild of a setup.

    • I had sd tune on the camaro. I liked it but wouldn't a maf tune be more simple? Maybe just find a tuner and have them decide?

      • How do I adjust my headlights? Also, both blinkers went out. First the right, then the left. The also the right blinker indicator is stuck on when the lights are on. Any ideas what could cause this?

            • turn signal blink beacuse of the load they put on the flasher element. if 1 bulb is open then there isnt enough load to make the element get hot enough to blink. fast flashing is from the bulb element shorted (or wire shorted) which makes the element get hot quicker

It won't blink at all. If I hit a blinker indicator it just says solid. When the eadkifbts are on the right indicator lamp stays lit.

also, just got back in town. picked up a NBM 98 z28. a4, yank 4k stall, 373s, and a bullet. not sure what else is done to it yet. i see it has some weird air intake underneath the stock intake box? the previous owner said it has an engine knock. i started it up and it almost sounds like a squeak. he said it ran great, he put an ls6 intake on it and it started making that weird noise immediately. it almost sounds like a squeaky pulley, so i took off the serpentine belt and it still does it.. anyone have any ideas? sounds like its coming from the passenger side of the engine.

                  • When the blinker is solid its usually the back bulb out.

                    • High pitched squeak is usually followed by a rod knock.

The backs turn on when I hit the blinker. Fronts are out. But it's both.. Putting new in tomorrow see what happens

                          • Drain the oil, does it smell like gas? look for gold glitter in oil thats a sign of excessive bearing wear. Next cut open the oil filter look for same.
