Will 5.3 intake bolts work on my ls1?

They'll be the same thread size, but the length will be different.

any dealer should have these, or be able to get them in a day or 2.

Try and find a used set, a couple years ago when I looked for these at the dealer they wanted over $8 a piece!

i drained the oil. straight coolant came out, then some oil... should i finish putting the car together and run it? or just completely tear it apart?

Sounds like an excessive amount of coolant to me it even looked milky in the other pic but it's hard to say when it leaks out th heads when removing them.

it was straight coolant at first.. idk. i'm going to run it, see what happens. does anyone have any intake bolts? also need the bolts that bolt the throttle body to the intake. let me know!!!

sorry i couldnt help more last night. thought those intake bolts would work but yeah i did notice they were shorter after you got here. id probably change the oil a couple times right away after running it.

I also need the brake booster hose and the coolant pipes that bolt to heads.

i ordered a coolant crossover pipe from anthony. he said that it only goes to the front ports on each head, and has block off plates for the rear.. on my 98, i had the pipe go to all 4 holes.. wtf???

98-2000 where all 4. 01-02 have the rears blocked for the ls6 intake

well this is a 99.. will it matter? or do i need all 4?

Yeah dealership said pre 02 use a front crossover pipe and the rear have plugs in them.

You'll want to find a way to vent the rear ports.
