Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I'd go distributor conversion aswell while he's at it.i think keeping the coils when doing a carb swap just isn't really purposeful ithink if your gonna keep coils mine aswell just stay fuel injected.
aftermarket tbi units aren't all that fantastic. its easy to modify them ive done it with my stock 350 one. otherwise just go carb.
Fixed that for you.
Stock TBI's can be made to flow more than aftermarket with some cheap and simple upgrades.
The biggest expense is upgrading the injectors. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator is the best bang for the buck, not sure what the max reliable pressure you can get from the TBI pump though. I think I have an extra TPI pump on the shelf, need to verify the part number though. I bought two while trying to figure out the no start issue on the 89 Silverado TPI swap.
I have a PROM burner/software/XDF & BIN files to do the tuning. Also have the ALDL to datalog. I also have an extra 01228746 brain box. Do you know what PROM you have in yours now?
Are you talking about the Ultimate TBI mods found in the tech articles on TGO? If so I was planning in doing that just gotta read it again and figure it all out(if I keep this engine).
i have a aftermarket performance chip I have the info (says previous owner), anyway I can tell if I pull the chip out?
Also I saw on TGO a tech a article on how to make the stock fuel pressure regulator adjustable. I was either going to do that or pick up one.
typo on my part. like mike said you can use an adjustable spring, or just use an inline pressure regulator with no internals. id look into shaving and boring it out, clean the whole thing up yadda yadda. Mike tunes some pretty good chips too so he can help you along the way. the aftermarket units are all pretty much crap from what ive heard. havent seen many people that like them. if you still want more power after this i know a guy selling a TBI supercharger.
