    • Good luck! I second adding some dynomat, and the sub frame connectors will help reduce rattles as well.

      • I'd just get your flywheel resurfaced and put in a Autozone clutch set in. Limited lifetime warranty.

Thanks! Yeah the interior will be getting a face lift and some dynomat or something similar for it, and hopefully will be welding on the sub frame connectors as soon as the car hits the road and can be driven to the shop.

eh, I think I want something better then that. I would like for it to be able to take a beating and actually hold up (even tho you shouldnt have a T5 and a 350 anyhow).

So what brands should I be looking at or staying away from, Centerforce, RAM, ZOOM, etc?

Transmission has "supposedly" been rebuilt stronger to handle the added power from a 305 to 350, so I was told who knows if thats the case or not. However, the sooner I break the actual transmission the soon the wife wont mind me spending the $$ to buy a T56,

Either way I still want a better then stock clutch something that will still drive good but be able to handle a mild 350 or whatever.

              • Broken transmissions are harder to sell Haha, anyway, I went with a HD organic clutch (cannot remember the company for sure, maybe Sachs?) but they claimed 380tq/460hp holding capability...but that's probably BS It was super cheap and I needed a clutch to get the car moving at the time. Pedal feels pretty good. If it burns up - oh well!

                    • Your making subframe connectors from 2x4s? I would suggest using lag bolts instead of nails. And make sure you keep them away from your exhaust.

                        • Wood takes a special wire to weld with.

I hope you have a good welder and someone who knows how to weld properly for those. They take an amazing amount of stress.

lol the wood was a joke, but do you mean those subframe connectors do? I picked those up cheap off a guy on CL, I dont have to use those ones if there is something else I should get?
