This was a learning experience too since I have never held a paint gun before this and I painted my own car, so why should I have expected it to be perfect? It has character but at least I can say that Jon and I did it with our hands. I just can not afford to have it painted again (even by me) so it is what it is at this point. I just cant wait to drive the shit out of it!

More pictures when there is more progress, free time is few and far in between.

on a side note, red stripes are done!
I agree completely. I will be doing the paint work on my car myself as well, not because I believe I can do a better job than a professional, because I can't, but because it is an experience I can look back on with pride. Be proud of what you have accomplished, you have done great work so far. I look forward to seeing more progress pictures, and can't wait to see the car in person!

Are they new springs? If so, it'll be even lower once they settle

And she moves outside under her own power.

Time to paint the spoiler and then get back to assembly and polishing.

                          • It downgrades the quality of the pic a bit, but not enough to matter.

                              • It's not that bad unless you're posting calendar worthy shots. Documenting the progress of the project to show that it's outside or what not is fine. Just make sure the final pics are uploaded through your PC
