  • It looks pretty low quality on my screen

    Perhaps I'm just picky

But the car is looking good, Darren!

Yeah I agree, I will stick to just using that app for responding not for pictures, lol.

I will take some good pictures when I get some more work done, right now working on spoiler and polishing. Hoping to get at least that done and the GFX back on the car.

It'll be out soon enough I hope, but if your ever in the area let me know or give me a heads up and you can come by and check it out in person. It sits pretty nice I never got a final measurement since I had to take off quickly. I hope it settles a little more once I get it all back together and start driving it. I was so used to how low my previous car was.

            • Looks really good man! My Dad and I did my springs this week. I'm only a half to 3/4 of an inch lower at the moment. Everyone is saying that they will settle quite a bit. I'll post some pics on my profile, check em out. Its looking like your car will be out very soon! Congrats, it looks great!

              • Looks good Darren!

My car didnt drop it nearly what I wanted it to but it didn't have the typical 4x4 look beforehand either.

Ill get some pictures today. I can't drive it far no windshield, interior, lights, plate, etc... Plus BigJon been working a ton lately he's really busy. I'll try to get it in front of my house in the street. It still looks deceiving because the inner fender wells are still out of it.

Right now I am working on the hood and fender gaps. I was never happy with them so I'm doing it again. Then back to polishing and assembly. I'm still curious what the 16's will look on it so I might throw those on the car.

17's on the car now and in most of these pictures that have been posted, I have had 18's but I didnt like them. I have a set of 17's and 16's for the car now.

So its turned out to be one of those "walk away from the garage kinda days" I need to wait till I can get a second set of hands to help me with the hood, I made it worse playing with it myself. So I am waiting for someone or my wife to get home to help me. So in the meantime, lunch it is.

                        • So BigJon came over to help me align my hood and some other odds and ends. The hood is aligned, straight and looking good. Cleaned it off and she's ready for stripes. Then we tackled the window sweeps, door handles and lock cylinders, and by we I mean Jon! While I polished some more of the car, got the passenger side ground effects on as well.

Maybe she will be out before snow?
