The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. If your not going to use the 1 inch spacers you got with the wheels, I will gladly buy them off ya. Just shoot me a fair price and maybe you can add it to the box you might be sending my way
Everyones setup is going to be a little different. Don't assume that an 8" rim with 4th gen offset will need a 2" spacer. I'll type out all the calculations below, numbers are rounded.
Fitti's:
17x8 +20 offset (we'll just call it 5.25" BS)
With my front setup with the LS1 rotors, I need to subtract about 7mm of offset because of the width of the rotor siting on top of the hub (old rotor milled in a hub).
I run a 1.5" spacer up front with 17x8 +38mm
Out back I have 2" spacer with 17x8 +38mm
Both are very close to 1/2" from the fender lip. The 18x9 +50 will be at the same location, the extra inch will be on the inboard side.
we did get the new heater core in but we had to take the rest of the interior out (the dash and center console) got most of that back in but still working on reassembly on the interior. Also got the heater core box mostly installed still working on a few things...

i hate those fasteners that keep the bumper on. i did quite alot to mine as well i got my shit together
Yeah I will be looking to buy some new fasteners when I go to put this all back together. Got some progress done on yours? I didn't see your thread bumped,
yeah the plastic ones. they were in the rear impact and the whole bottom half of the reinforcement bar was rusted out which made things more difficult.
