glad to see you put that valve cover the right way, but I agree that it doesn't look all that great. I talked with my uncle about stamping a better looking left & right specific cover just like those, he's interested be we need to figure out the legal issues.

Yeah, to be honest I am not a fan at all... But they are what I have and the least of my worries. I love the look but just not how the "words" are if that makes sense.

Yeah I should have left the air cleaner on for that picture and you can really see... Not sure what I am going to do, I want to try a drop base air cleaner (and of course cut down the dowel you see there) but I hate to buy one for it just not to work. Looking to see if I can find one cheap or local to borrow.

FWIW, I really like the Jongbloed hoods for third gens. I've put on a few pics for those who might not be familiar.

That doesnt look to bad. However I like my stock hood! Its the best part Jon and I painted, and the stripes are perfect on it right now. If I replaced the hood I'd have to paint it and convince my mother in law (who doenst like me ATM) to make another set of stripes,
