Plan is to finish the little stuff, tq arm and hood tonight, call and put insurance on it today, take it to get the exhaust welded up and an alignment tomorrow, then I call phil and see what the doctor says. He probably wont want to do it till it gets warmer, but thats ok with me.
Just needed to get it moving under its own power so I can get it out of the shop and back into the barn so we can get started on the Nova!1999 Camaro - 6 liters of fury.....

Yea that cam has for sure seen some use hasnt it! Been real good to me so far. Made 320/338 in the 5.3 through the stalled auto, hoping for 400 in the 6 liter, dont have real high hopes though, just really looking for driveability, which im sure it will provide nicely.Originally posted by 1999Black_Z28 View PostNice!!! I'm glad to see you gave my old 224 a new / bigger home
Cant wait to see the track results

Made 383hp/376tq on a mustang dyno thru my 9" rear. Even though you are running an auto I am guessing you will hit the 400+ mark with the extra cubes and 10 bolt. But like Jeff said, dont get hung up on dyno numbers. Every dyno is different...the track is what counts. I consistently trapped 114 with that cam and hit 115 once or twice.Originally posted by sman View PostYea that cam has for sure seen some use hasnt it! Been real good to me so far. Car is all done and back on all fours. Got to check the trans fluid one more time in the morning now that its sitting level and hit the road.
Anyone know what size the nut is that holds the lower line on the AC condenser?
Anyone also know why I have an ABS inop light? Could it have anything to do with me swapping back to my old cluster after the car has already been programmed for the new one? Front wheel speed sensors are plugged in, as well as the speed sensor in the housing, and I cant read anything other than powertrain codes with my laptop.
Got insurance put on it today, and im driving it to work tomorrow! A co worker is following me over to the muffler man at lunch to get the exhaust welded up, then off to an alignment!1999 Camaro - 6 liters of fury.....
