  • Currently am dialing in the idle MAF settings. Got BLMs pretty much 128 at idle bouncing a little under and a little over.

    • Awesome. Was tuning flashing in a new tune and I clicked on the TunerCats and then when it finished turned key off then on, click click click click with the service engine soon flashing each click. Can't read the PCM anymore, pulled the fuse for like 5 mins, put it back in. Stopped the clicking and light flashing but still won't start, can't read PCM. Probably fried the PCM. Thats awesome by clicking on the program it messes up the writing process.

      • Well I bought a PCM of Kammi so that will get me up and running around. Sent an email to TunerCats about it and they said it sounds fried but it's weird that clicking on the tables did it. So they said send them the PCM and the file and they will fix it. So that's sweet.

Thinking about ordering a S60 with 4.10s, mechanical locker, no ABS and a driveshaft. Tossing the idea up.

I think I misplaced some bolts. Between my LCA relocation brackets, LCAs, and panhard bar I only have 4 bolts. Sound like I'm missing some?

        • Got driverside LCA bracket installed. The passenger LCA bolt is stuck in the axle. The passenger panhard bolt won't come out. The driverside panhard bolt won't even turn.

I think I am missing 4 bolts. I only have 4 and 2 sleeves. They've been moved around for a while.

Suppose to be 2 for each LCA, 1 for each LCA bracket, and 2 for the panhard bar?

              • Don't get a mechanical locker with a stick car. It's going to pop and bang in parking lots being a general pain in the ass and they can be a little dangerous in corners if you aren't paying attention

                • I'm not worried about corners my Blazer was Part Time 4 wheel and everytime you went into a corner and gave it gas it would lock the rear and would hop through the corners. The S60 comes stock with a Truetrac.

                    • I had a locker with a M6 and it was not a good experience. I heard they're not as bad with autos. I just got a truetrac and it is much smoother of a drive.

                            Bad valves, pretty sure.

                            • Update:

Got the PCM from Kammi, threw her in and programmed a tune. Up and running again. Greased the new rear suspension parts and decided to take her for a drive. Open the electric cut outs and went for a trip around the block. Ripped on her a little bit come back down my street and there is two cop cars two houses down, hit the cutouts pull in the drive way. Haha there is no insurance on her right now.

I'm not gonna bother taking pics of the rear because no one wants to see rusty axle with shiny new BMR parts.
I also talked to a guy at BMR and he said when I want to do the front suspension or get other parts get a hold of him and he will give me a deal on the parts. Hell yeah.

Next step is to paint the valve covers (they are in primer right now), work out the tune, and decided (I R Tree Trimmer decide) what I want to buy next.

                              • Update:

Working on getting the tune correct. Chasing a little bit of spark knock at WOT. Saw like 6 degrees so I pulled 3 degrees, now only once did I see 3 and a few under a degree. So pull 3 from where the 3 degrees was saw and a degree from the other spots that were under a degree. I need to pick up a Infra-red thermometer so I can individually tune the cylinders. Right bank is a little bit leaner than the left bank, which I am pretty sure because cylinder number two is the last cylinder feed with fuel.

Overall coming together nicely. Talked to Strange and they said a S60 with no ABS and a locker (not getting the locker anymore so it will be cheaper) was like 2500 and a driveshaft for the T56 and S60 that will hold over 1000hp is 450 bucks. (I plan on putting down some power later) So I might order that stuff maybe this month.

Here are some pictures of the histogram.
