    • Well hung over so no work on the Camaro but I did at least get the Cruze washed and a coat of wax on.

        • I decided to get something done on the Camaro. So I cleaned the valve covers and laid down a coat of primer. My color scheme is going to be black and lime green. Lime green valve covers and intake manifold. Plus badges and letters changed to lime green.

          • UPDATE:

            • New valve seals installed in Driver Side head.
            • Stainless Steel Manley valves installed
            • Driver Side head installed
            • ARP Head bolts

Yes I did a better job at cleaning the surfaces, got a wire wheel and a pneumatic drill.

Now I just need to get the passenger head off. I unbolted the power steering pump. Now the bolt in the PS/AC bracket that is hiding behind the PS pump is that the only bolt I have to remove to get the passenger side head off?

I wanted to do a 226/234 Cam swap while the engine was apart but I don't have the funds for it. So I just reinstalled stock springs and such and are putting her back together so I can at least drive her this year. Since we are all gonna die in December anyways right?

            • Hm interesting.

Got the passenger head off. The number 2 cylinder has no heat on the spark plug, the exhaust valve looks different then all the others, the combustion chamber looks different. I put a caliper on the spring on the number 2 and 4 cylinder exhaust springs and the number 2 cylinder spring seems smaller, could be my measuring, its hard to get an accurate measure on them. So any ideas? I had no codes of a misfire.

Bad valve? Or springs? Or what?

                • I know an all plugs were changed at the same time. I am lost what is happening. If you look at the pictures from yesterday. All combustion chambers on the driver side head look like number 2 on the passenger side. Then 4 6 8 look different.

Last pic proves that there is room under a LT1 hood.

                          • Car is back together and running.

Next step is to install the LCA relocation brackets, LCAs, and panhard bar.
