I shouldnt be going that fast anyways. Sometimes though...it just happens.

If I had the money, I would love some black leather 94-96 seats.

          • Updating this thread. Car has came a LONG ways. This week I put new springs, shocks, struts, and sway bar links on the car. Also undercoated the entire bottom of the car. Took lots of pics. Please be aware, car is not "done". I know the exhaust tips are super low, and its missing z28 badges.

Stock ride height. 170,081 miles. Person I bought the car from said he swapped in his brothers lower mileage deCarbon shocks and struts...I dont think that was true.

Stock spring vs LT1 Eibach Pro Kit

Used high temp paint to paint the vents and hat of my new rotors. Hopefully this stops the rust.

            Old parts

"Undercoated" under the wheel well too. Sprays on brown, dries black. Pretty cool stuff.

            • Front brakes finished up. Yes, Brembo stickers on stock LT1 calipers..I'm that guy.

              New stance:

Nearly 100% sure I am going to have issues.

All cleaned up ready to go back into the garage for a few weeks until I start something else.

In these pictures you can really see how the tips and dark marker lights(too dark) kill the look of the car IMO.

Silver rear is growing on me.

Interior of the car, as stock 1996 as it gets.

              • Next up on the to do list is indicator lights, head light "restoration", rack and pinion swap, rear brakes, new tires and in the spring the exhaust tips will be delt with.

                Stock Front: 27.75"
                Eibach Front:26.25"
                Lowered 1.5 inches

                Stock Rear: 27.5"
                Eibach Rear: 26.5"
                Lowered 1"

                Rear shocks: Monroe Sensatrack
                Front struts: Gabriel.
This was budget lowering, I know Ill get what I pay for.

I could not drive the car today, our driveway is way too icy to make it up. Am I happy with it? For the most part yes. I think the rear is a little low and I am aware sag is common with Eibach springs but regardless it looks pretty good right now. After some miles I may try some heater hose on the springs, with the isolator(currently on car). I think that once two people and all the crap I normally haul around are loaded in the car the rear will be pretty low. I drove it with just the rear springs and shocks changed and didnt notice any difference at all.

                        Maybe on racecars

Nate...dual outlets (Corsa style) always look good if they're snugged up there. Certainly can appreciate all the work. Love the new stance! And oh btw, PLEASE fix that spoiler

                          • Thanks guys.

I was thinking about going back to no tips like the car had when I got it.

The spoiler I think I am going to keep for the time being. Its different, and it may match my z28 badges. Thought about painting the posts in black again so that it was just a half moon in silver.
