        • Taped off the silver wheel today. Everything was all good until I got to the corners....not good. Did the best I could cutting a square of tape with scissors but it still doesnt look as good as I want it. Gonna sleep on it and try it with a new razor blade tomorrow. I dont want to scratch or cut the powdercoat though.

            • what kind of paint are you using? is it going to adhere to the powder coat? def keeping up with this project

              • I think he's taking it back to the company to have them powdercoat black over the rim where the tape isn't on the rim.

                • Yes, I am taking it back for a gloss/satin (I know right) black powdercoat.

                  Yes I am pretty damn excited. Ordered tires today.

                  I knew this project wasnt going to be a fast one, but I really think powdercoat is the winner vs spray paint.
