    is your temp gauge even working?

    btw guys there is nothing wrong with a fan switch. It doesnt hurt an engine to run a little warm once in a while, if it was they would have set the fans to come on quicker from the factory.

            Years ago when I was bracket racing the 94 camaro I had, I had to wire up a fan switch. We used to just turn on the A/C to kick the second fan on to cool between fast rounds, but unfortunately we were dripping condensation on the track, so they said no more. So I wired up a switch that was on when up and auto when down. Thats the best way to wire a switch. But in most cases its not nescessary. Just set the fan temps where you want them and let it be. The one i made is:

              Left = low speed
              Center = automatic (basically off)
              Right = high speed

              and i have two LEDs that indicate when each fan is on.

              I dont take credit for the wiring design though.

                      I've got a green hatch I think.

                      And Joel, you have two. There's the coolant temp sensor in the waterpump and the one in the head.

                      The one in the waterpump is for the PCM:

                      The one in the driver's side head is for the temperature gauge:

                        my goal was buying a black hatch so I dont have to take the tint off and repaint the one on it. Just a feature of my lazy personality.

                          The blue clip is what is broken on mine in the 2nd pic. Couldnt find where to buy it on shobox, good site though.

                              Is it just the clip on the plug that's broke? If so, it's not the cheapest but EFI connection has brand new plug pigtails:
                              http://www.eficonnection.com/eficonn..._pigtails.aspx

                              The coolant plug is $12.
