No, your 98 perimeter Valve covers will not work.. You can pick up center bolt valve covers on tech usually.. LMK what mods you want to do.. I am guessing the wire mod and hood cable mod for sure.. What else? Do you have traction control? I know how to relocate the module now, did mine today.

I'm just wondering, what kind of gains could be seen with fully cnc ported 243's? I suppose that they'd out flow the el torro cam then. My intake is definitely going to be my strongest setback.

Ported 243 have made over 500RWHP in LS2's. Shoot over to LS1gto.com they have a few guys over there making big power on 243's

Yeah I assume LS6 intakes are on both of your mods lists.

actually I think I'm going to save up for a while and buy a Fast unless I find an LS6 intake for dirt cheap.

that would be sweet too, but there is no sense in camming the car with when your choking on the shitty LS1 intake manifold, you need to upgrade that asap.

Probably also important that it gets tuned with an intake manifold that can flow enough eh? Some guy's coming to look at and possibly buy my dirtbike this Fri. so hopefully I'll have the funds to do whatever I need to.
BTW I think I'm going to play it safe and have the rev limiter set at ~6400 because I'm not going to be pulling my motor to swap rod bolts.
On the upside of things my dad told me he can get employee pricing on pistons and rods from Mahle. (maybe I'll build a stroked LS3 in a few years, like 5 or 6...)

Might consider it if it has a stroker crank, rods, and pistons
