I think you're thinking of the one BLKHAWK is selling for $100.00 which is the 305 not the 503... that cam compares to a hot cam.... still pretty cheap though.

I have been thinking more and more about what I want to do to this. Im debating on putting the engine back together with new rings and bearings, gaskets, oil pump, water pump, plugs and wires, headers etc and just drive it. Then do engine mods down the road. Suggestions?

That is what I am thinking about doing, but its like I came this far why not do what I want to do to it. Plus I am in no hurry to get it back together.

I know you have an LS1 Camaro, but youd be suprised how fun an LT1 can be to play with on the streets with the right mods, and a converter if its an auto. Do a little tuning and they are real torquey and fun. Just a few bolt ons makes a TON of differance on them.....................a ton. Good luck in whatever you decide. Hey if you still got this i have a complete front end for ya? fenders, hood, bumper, light pannel,... anything i dont need for a 98+ front end. Idk if you keeping your camaro but all my parts are painted your color and will bolt right up

Hmm I could use a hood for sure. How much are you looking to get for the hood? I have a guy that has one for $40 bucks but its red, so I would have to repaint it.

Here is the latest... it isn't much but I am hoping the 99 will sell and I can start getting this project rolling!.....

In the process of fixing the headliner, re glued it and now I need to sew it so it wont fall in the future, hope it turns out ok. Then i just need to clean it before it goes back in.

I should be bringing the car home soon so I can start on the body work!!!

Thank you! BTW, the polys are working great for the 99. Had to trim them down a little to fit in the clams but they worked great!!!
