      • Got the front bumper primed yesterday/last night.

Some before pics of me sanding it down and getting all of off the chipping paint feather out.

        I used PPG's 2k High fill primer

        First coat-

        Couple coats later-

Also today I worked on more of the interior, started cleaning the door panels and then did the dash, so all of the interior plastics have been cleaned, all I have left is the headliner, and I have to put the plastics that run from the drivers and passengers feat along the doors back. The long skinny ones if you know what I am talking about. I need to sand them down and repaint them.

Door panels before a good cleaning

        During cleaning-

        All done-

Got the drivers side window motor out (that was a pita!)

And last but not least decided to one step one of the fenders. And this is the reason I love the color

Well I hope to get a job in a body shop soon then the paint jobs will look even better. Nothing sucks more than having to wet everything down before painting. Plus the temperature change etc.

                Thanks everyone!

I got the door skins reattached to the shell. So now no more flapping doors.

The girlfriend bought me 2 new window motors for the 99, since the 99's passenger side went out just before I put it away I am going to replace both of them and use the drivers from the 99 and put it on the 93. Since the 93's drivers is out but passenger side works great.

Once I put the window motor in I just have to clean the door panels, detail the dash, bolt the seats back down and then figure something out for the headliner then I should be good interior wise.

I am going to finish up painting my bosses fender flares on his Mercedes tomorrow night I am going to try to finish sanding the front bumper and prime it if I have enough time.
while you have the door apart for the passenger window motor do yourself a favor and buy the autotrix passenger window rewire kit, it sends direct power to the passenger window increasing speed of motor and drastically increasing life, I've put the kit on 3 cars with tired passenger window motors and they work like new when done..

                          • Thanks B.

Derek, I was planning on doing that but I would rather put the money for one towards my 99. When the 93's motor gets slow I'll probably end up getting one.

Next other than finishing up the little things in the interior, will be priming the rear bumper. I need to find someone with a stud welder so I can pop out the big dent behind the passenger door. I would rather not buy one.

                            this one ...
