Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

After doing some reading I went with the LS2 timing set due to function and price. PM me if you're interested in details. I'm using the Melling hi pressure pump.
LS2 chain is nice for the money.
I wouldn't go double roller unless your running some really nasty springs and cam.
Got the bird, 5.3, and all the random parts home. Thanks Dustin. Now to get the HuronSpeed turbo kit home and let the fun begin. After adding up the parts list i doubt the car will make it out this summer unless i win the lotto. I know i can make up some cash by selling what i dont need
Mike, I wouldn't turst the aeromotive 340. It's supposedly good to more than 650 rwhp but I started PM'ing people who bought them (I couldn't find info any other way) and everyone who responded said the pump didn't last long. Here's probably the most descriptive response I got...
"Well, my builder put in the AM340 for me back in March. It took a shit in September. Just started dying on me. I talked to Lonnies Performance about them and they said that they have only had bad reports about them. They do not recommend the Aeromotive 340. Also, I kept getting some sort of vapor lock with it. Lonnies said that this was a frequent issue with them..."
A pair of 255's in tank would be the way to go! I am direct with Nasty who gets them done through Lonnies. If you decide to go that route let me know and I can get you good pricing on it!
I looked at running a single Aeromotive 340. But went with twin 255's in the tank. I hope they will give me enough fuel for my needs. I think 650ish at the wheels isn't to far out of line?
Go with an external pump and sump the tank. Not a fan of dual in intake pumps at all- kinda look at it as the "hack" method
I disagree. Twin pumps when done right by a reputable company has shown terrific results with great manners and longevity.
Sure a sumped tank with an external pump might be "Better" but when you consider the cost of that vs twin in tanks and also how silent twin in tanks are compared to an external, I would do dual in tanks for a street car under 900 rwhp all day everyday and twice on sundays
