NO you don't have to take out the rearend. I've had my tank out 3 or 4 different times, once just month ago and I've never dropped the rearend or even unbolted the shocks. yep u do not have to pull the rearend... it can be easier but its a lot more work

A lot of peope do it cause it frees up horse power, they claim. I dont think that it frees up a noticible difference, and if you take it off, when you let off the gas it will pop and crackle and just generally sound like shit.Originally posted by Zfenix View Post

Sounds like ya'all have had fun with this..... I would check... Air filter, air/fuel ratio, fuel pressure regulator, and head gaskets.
