No problem Kyle.

The paint in my sig is/was the original paint.
I had a few flaws, plus a lot of stone chips in the front. So it had its flaws.
Sure it looked great from 10 feet away though.

I had the car painted Candy apple red last year and there were too many things that went wrong, so were redoing it again this year.

....yeah expensive lesson for sure! This paints not the cheapest!

Wow, no doubt, I've heard that Candy paint is CRAZY expensive. Sucks that it went wrong the first time, but looks like its going good the second time around!!

So question, the front bumper looks like its candy red, and you have a sig pic of the car being candy red, and the paint looks pretty good. Whats the missing piece of the puzzle here?

You are right it was taken a couple years ago. I never had my car out all last year.
So I'm REALLY looking forward to driving it.

just for the long trips clear plastic wrap like the dealers use in transport, im with ya todd trust me almost $6,000 in paint on my car and it pisses ya off when you go out for 15 min. and there it is laughing at a chip. aauuugghh

Blocking out the Drivers side: LOL...yeah had to adjust the gas door a little bit. Still going to have to be VERY careful when I open up the gas door.

LOL...that's the truth! I'm glad I took out the front seats. It will make things a little easier to clean when I get that far.
But I agree, it will take me a week to get it as clean as I want it.
I'll take a blow gun and blow all the dust out of it. I already took the dash pad off. I didn't want that getting messed up.
But it will be fun to actually do the "cleaning" process! haha!!

It's in the paint booth!!!

Got a lot of parts wet sanded today, My car is moved into the paint booth.
Took the rear hatch off to paint the metal trim around the window.
Things are looking great!!
I had a HUGE smile on my face today to see my car was moved.
It's like I graduated!
