I think those are the original seats. They actually look to be graphite to me, not ebony, I think it's the camera playing tricks on us as the plastic on them definitely looks to be graphite. As mentioned those seats have the switches for an LT1 car, the newer ones have rocker switches. Also, those headrests were available in older cars too, but possibly just the V6/Formula models. My 94 Formula had those exact seats in it and I know they were original.

Well, the reason I say they are ebony is because I swear the interior is the same color as my Camaro's seats - which were ebony. Its a dark colored interior, the camera flash definitely brightens up the color from what they look like in person.

If they are original that is certainly incredible. The car has 192,000 miles and the drivers bolster barely has a 1" tear.

Honestly though, firebird seats from 85-02 are damn near the same. Pretty good design IMO.

Drum brakes - not a Y87.

I did NOT carfax this car, didnt think it was worth it for what i paid. No idea how many owners or accidents it had. I did find a piece of paper in the owners manual that suggests the original owner lived in grosse point

Maybe they've been recovered at some point? They could be from a donor car and not original, but everything except for possibly the color of the leather itself looks to be correct for that year of car. The leather does look a little darker than I'm used to for graphite, but the plastic on the seats and the rest of the car definitely looks graphite. Ebony is a much truer black than all the plastic both on the seats and in the rest of the car. And those switches are definitely from an LT1 car. I just sold a set of graphite seats from a 98 T/A and they had the newer style switches on the side.

Maybe? Like I said, its a real dark interior in person. And all the bolt and belt mount covers are there... if they were ever removed/replaced someone did it right.

Currently trying to get the stock fuel pump out. Definitely appears to be original, I cannot seem to get one of the lines disconnected for the life of me... I hope I dont break this thing.

Fuel pump is apart, sender is good, full tank of gas, and I have ordered the replacement pump from ZZP - thanks travis for the recommendation!

Yea I tried that. There is only one slight little difference between the two pumps its some kind of vent/bleedoff line that the 96 doesnt have. Not a chance i feel like taking really.
