damn those are awesome, I have 2 different sets on my headers, since some were harder to use in tight spots.

yeah they work really good. very easy to get a wrench on them too. and the locks are simple to tighten

Yuck, then you have to have a 12pt socket for it. Rounded head city here I come!

I have the ARP lockers and I actually never even put the locking clips on them. I haven't had any issues.

              12 pt. socket with a 12 sided bolt = less stripping than a conventional 6pt. socket on a 6 sided bolt......IMHO

Um, a socket on header bolts? Good luck with that. The bolts are designed for a 12 point wrench and they are MUCH better than 6 point. The only time you're gonna see rounding is when you're using a 12 point on a 6 point bolt. 12 goes with 12 and 6 with 6

I only used allen wrenches, personally.

how can you possibly round a 12pt bolt while using a 12 point socket or 12 point closed end box wrench.

nate trust me, you want a 12pt head. make the install easier cause you can turn the bolts little by little (which is necessary due to confined space)

                    • Can someone change this to "N8's eBay Speed Daddy Lt1 headers install" or something like that?

This has turned into more of a project thread than an information thread.

Plan on installing them next week. Picked up a stock flywheel yesterday.

getting pretty excited to get my car going. going to do some appearance mods too.

I'd seriously consider the side windows too, I love the way it looks on my car. I've got pulled over once in my car for it but they didn't cite me for it. Then again mine has 10-ish percent, 35 would look good and I doubt they'd bother you.
