just making an assumption based off this thread, seems to be a big deal lol. I've resued mine several times and no issues.Doing less with more

Percys are overpriced and work no better than stock replacement felpros. They work good, dont get me wrong. But a lot of people spend a lot of money on header gaskets that could go other places. Ive used mine over 3 times over 8 years with no copper sealent or anything else. I guess the message in this thread is that it dosent matter how much you spend or what kind of gaskets you get, just dont buy paper, lol. Eric L

Not this guy!Originally posted by nascarnate326 View PostAnyone swapped headers and not broke spark plugs?
When I installed headers on Kolin's 93 LT1 Trans am... I broke one plug. But get this... I had it in the socket, screwed all the way in, and couldn't get the socket off. I tried, Tom tried and Kolin tried - we ended up breaking the plug by hitting the socket with a hammer to free the socket. The second time we installed it using an open ended wrench
To this day it doesn't make sense to me...

It would be good to change them anyways. I wish wires were cheaper.Originally posted by Lucky SOB View PostNot this guy!

I removed my plugs before pulling the manifolds. I personally am a fan of the Taylor OVC wires. Mine have been great for 8 years. I plan on replacing them when I build the new motor just because. Ive also had good luck with the MSD wires, but those were under the manifold and were a very tight fit in the stock looms. I know a lot of guys on the Camaro board just run the stock Delphi 7mm plug wires. Personally, im getting another set of Taylor do it your selfers again. Good luck with what ever option you choose.
