One of the flywheel bolts is stuck on
I cant seem to get the last EGR bolt off either.....grrrrrr

Anyone have ideas about that flywheel bolt?

Had to grind the k member down a decent amount and the steering linkage, not too bad.

Totally surprised how easy the headers slide up in there. Took about 30 seconds to figure out the way they go up.


Taking the DynoMax shorties off....holy shit. Joel will vent her for sure. Took us 6 hours to get my old headers off.

Hard to see on my phone but is the porcelin red? What the hell kind of fuel was run through it? I'd install a new set of plugs for sure. Is the timing mark at the base of the strap? If so the plug is too hot and a colder plug will be the first step.

What should I do about this last header bolt that keeps cross threading?

if the header bolt is cross threading you need to helicoil it, which unfortunately means pulling the head off

yes i had to do the same thing unfortunatly it was because i broke studs off in the head.

yes it needs to be helicoiled. unless you have a 90* drill and depending on where the porblematic thread is, you may have to pull the head
