          The oe needed to be replaced and I got a full set of these along with all new hardware for the real for under 300 bucks. No complaints here

              I'm more concerned at the moment at getting it mobile lol

              Speaking of which, I may have located my transplant. Fingers crossed. Waiting in more details to make sure it's not a vvt engine.

                              Let me know if it works out for you. I do have an original gen1 LT1 shortblock in good shape, but I couldn't let it go cheap.

                                I talked to Gary last night and we worked out a deal. I pick up the block next week. From what it sounds, I should be able to upgrade the valve train and spin it up to 7 grand. We worked out a "frugal" price. You were right, he's a super cool guy. Oddly enough, he upgraded to the blueprint stroker that I was eyeballing. This won't be the final step, but at least I can drive the car while i do build a monster LS after I finish the dodge.
