I like the word, "frugal'. It means cheap, but sounds more regal.Originally posted by ruckusz28 View PostThanks Tony, I'll check it out. Appreciate you being on the lookout for me. I'm either cheap or thifty.. it's gotten me this far!..............____ .......

Let me know if it works out for you. I do have an original gen1 LT1 shortblock in good shape, but I couldn't let it go cheap.Originally posted by ruckusz28 View PostThanks Tony, I'll check it out. Appreciate you being on the lookout for me. I'm either cheap or thifty.. it's gotten me this far!
Hey, nothing wrong with cheap. I wouldn't have my car right now if I wasn't cheap! But "frugal" does sound better.Originally posted by mikewoods View PostI like the word, "frugal'. It means cheap, but sounds more regal.

I talked to Gary last night and we worked out a deal. I pick up the block next week. From what it sounds, I should be able to upgrade the valve train and spin it up to 7 grand. We worked out a "frugal" price. You were right, he's a super cool guy. Oddly enough, he upgraded to the blueprint stroker that I was eyeballing. This won't be the final step, but at least I can drive the car while i do build a monster LS after I finish the dodge.Originally posted by TB2 View PostLet me know if it works out for you.
