    • Had my buddy Tom come by and we got the engine together for the most part. Waiting on some new hardware. The stuff I reclaimed from the old block was, not kidding, wood screws. That's going nowhere near my new block.

I need to repaint a few spots. Looks like the block was swearing because of the garage heater running and some paint came off.

        • Mike not to bust your balls, well really to actually bust your balls, you need to get your ass in gear! Its a bummer youre missing the M&G already but you can not miss woodward nights... So get your crap ordered and lets get to work. I insured the camaro this week and will try to start it again this weekend if she runs I will be driving her past your house daily just tempting you and teasing you. Lets get that thing in there, you are literally a weekend away from starting it up!

          • It'll get done when it gets done lol. This weekend I have a bachelor party and the next weekend I have a wedding. After that I'll have some time to get it in the car.

                            • I had an 89 with a 2.8 way back when. That one did great burnouts too. That is how I fell in love with these cars. Probably the best summer of my life happened in that car.
