Well then I will be calling Johnny, can Johnny get x pipes and exhaust piping and other things so I can build a new exhaust?

Sorry nate for jumping in your thread, but I want something similar to what you bought but cant find that for my car! I think I am going to piece it together.

    • Are you guys notching your slip fit connections? While admittedly not as easy as 3-bolt flanges, I've taken apart my previous system had the outside pipe notched and it wasn't nearly that bad.

      • If I can get a hold of a welder I'm going to do flanges. There is really no other way to go

        • Traded the old exhaust for a nice LS1 intake. Hope to get that put on this weekend.

Also will be finishing up the True Duals. The kit is just a little too long, the turn downs hit on the sway bar. Going to cut a little bit off and it should be good to go. I didnt realize you had to drill holes in your car for TD setups.

                • Got the exhaust all finished up..what a pain. The tail pipes were hitting the sway bar. Was going to return the system but decided to just fix it our self and make it work. Got it tucked up real nice. I still think its going to need something more than the bullets that it has but its loud and it has some good cam lope now.

Worst of all: this didn't fix my problem. The car has a miss and apparently it wasn't the cat converts like I thought. Traded off the old exhaust system so I am stuck with the duals, wish I should have got to begin with.

Replaced my taylor plug wires..not change. Went and got some AC Delco plugs, that needs to be done anyways. Probally going to put my Taylors back on since there isn't anything wrong with them.

What are the chances that an 02 sensor is causing my problems?? Car appears to idle fine but once I get going it runs like dog shit. Idles great, revs great when sitting. Just runs like hell and shakes when driving. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am lean in towards the 02 sensors.

                    • I've heard about warnings with Bosch, but they have been on my car for years. No issues. I have the vette rear o2s.

                      • Are you having the issue in OL and CL?

                        • I think it's ol that the problems occur.

Then why do you think it's the O2 sensors? They aren't providing feedback in OL.

                            • I get OL and CL mixed up. After 30-45 seconds is when it does it.

                              • Well I was wrong on 02 sensors. Had them warranty the ones I had, put new ones in..same thing.

Maybe my MAF really is dirty? Its only a year old.
