      • So to recap, took intake off and realized all but one port on the passenger head was wet...meaning it wasn't getting fuel.

New o rings on injectors, swapped them again

Realized the injector plug was bad, bought a new plug. Wired it up and it runs perfect.

At this point everything is good except for the exhaust. We didn't quite get it on symmetrical. Need to fix that and it will be all set. Put 50 miles on it tonight with no issues.

                • Still find it funny that my local dealership thought it was because of no cats. Lolz

Also, this exhaust is insane. More drone than I wanted but at idle it sounds tits and above 4k it sounds like a raped z06.

Not saying it's fixed but it hasn't did the funky idle surge yet.

Just happy to have a running car again, big stress reliever.

                    • Driving down the road and the car just dies from lack of fuel. At this point when the key is turned on I can not hear the pump make any noise. Wait around an hour and pump makes noise when key is on, starts up and runs fine until it randomly happens again.

This happened in early spring a few times, checked grounds, hotwire isnt burned or having any known issues.

All summer long car drove awesome, took it on a few 300+ mile trips with no issues.

Now its getting cooler again and the car as did it twice.

What in the hell is going on with my car?

                      • Hmmm have you checked the opti?

How can you say lack of fuel?

Have you put a mechanical gauge on it to verify that you have low or fluctuations in pressure on it or just guessing?

I would put a gauge on it and see what kind of pressure it's making at idle and wot.

It sounds like you have a dying pump but I would throw a gauge on it and see what the pressure is

....I'm guessing that was a joke right?

I'd tend to believe a failing pump myself Nate.

No I thought ls1s came standard with optis and siliconed intakes. . I must be thinking of them Damn lt1s

In the couple pump failures I've had. They never flat out took a dump out of no where.

One was reading low pressure and kept dropping as time went on and the other worked intermittently like you are experiencing. If you have a gauge check it if not follow that hot wire kit from the alternator on back and verify the connections are tight and not corroded and also make sure the wire hasn't rubbed threw any where.

More then likely though it's your pump.
