  • Ill try that today Scott.

here is a super crappy video. Sometimes it keeps its high idle and other times it goes back down and lets me coast at 1100 rpm. This last weekend it was like cruise control at 1800 rpm through parking lots in second gear, I had to use the brakes to slow it down. Just seems like if it was the tune it would always have its high idle.

I might just buy an IAC just to be on the safe side.

    • prob something in the tune.

might be a good time to stop using mail order tunes and actually get a good tune by someone instead

      • I think its a iac. If its a problem with the tune i think it would be more consistent.

        • Ordered an IAC. Delphi CV10013. At this point its a guess but I am willing to take a chance.

Could it be a MAP sensor, or a wheel speed sensor?

Id still like to get the tune looked at Michael just to see if you see anything, before I get real crazy with money.

          • Mine use to do the this. drove it 2-3 years like that. New tune, by a different tuner, and no more issues..

                • Could be map but i dont think ive seen one of those fail before. That would be an easy one to switch from scotts car though.

                          • Installed the Delphi IAC today, appears to have solved the problem. Idles smooth and when driving if I push the clutch in it goes back down to 1300 rpm like it should.

Now to get these cats put in.

                            • Got the cats installed yesterday. It is exactly what I wanted. Sounds high quality, it is quieter but still gets plenty loud when you step on it. Zero nasty smell. Outside of gmmg it's as good as a y pipe setup gets. Best of all, zero rasp with the crappy merge.

Ill post some some pics and video tomorrow, it's just awesome.
