I have a catch can, it came with the car and is hooked up backwards. I am not sure if I want to throw a new cheap catch can on or just correct the existing one. I haven't touched it, its black and zip tied in. Need to get some kind of permeant solution.

According to everyone on ls1tech they fit nothing short of perfect. I was going to get cheap no name brand headers but since I am keeping the stock k figured I wanted something that fit with zero modifications. Cost a little more but it was worth it, and true 1 3/4 primaries, not stepped down.1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed

Can anyone tell me what this part is called? Its the piece that the glass goes up against on the bottom/ outside of the glass. Towards the handle it points up, the tab that holds it down is broken so I need to replace it this spring.
Thanks!

The catch cans don't go bad as long as you're emptying it, but it sure does look like the hoses are reversed. Be careful with cheap catch cans - a lot of the cheap ones are just hollow without any baffles or material to help the oil condense out of the vapor -- meaning they don't do sh!t.
I've never gotten around to doing it myself, but ideally I want to get an in-line filter in a see-through housing which is available at Home Depot / Lowes where you can actually see the filter. I'd install that AFTER the catch can, that way I can see/confirm the catch can is doing its job.- Brian Meissen

Outer Window Sill Molding or Outer Window Felt (those two names get interchanged often).......The tabs breaking are a pretty common problem.West Michigan Pontiac Club

also called weatherstripping.
My company makes some of this stuff and we are the company that did the body sealing on the 4th generation f-body. Side note, people laugh around here when you mention that car, for obvious reasons
.
If you can find a part number it might be worth a search here (i admit this site is not very user friendly)

Got some rear bumper lights. Took quite a while tot find this exact fish. No night shades, but its a "natural" smoked finish. Came with bulbs too.

Got the car off jack stands and back on the ground. Exhaust is super low right now because of the patch, about 2 inches off the ground.

Mirrors are at the body shop getting painted since they were complete junk when I got them. HID fog lights are here as well as a shorty antenna.
And here is another video that tries to capture the new sound. Its pretty darn good though raspy.
Next is the issue of getting it out of my grandmas barn. Because of all the snow we have had I need to get it out while there is ice on the ground. Once it thaws I can't drive it across her yard. (super picky about her grass)1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed

Looks good but honestly your tune sounds way way off, both idle and when you rev it. I don't think id drive it much without a retune. A proper tune is going to change how it sounds too.Last edited by JoeliusZ28; February 16th, 2014, 08:26 PM.-Joel

98's are way different to tune, RAFIG and RAFPN have been very sensitive in my experience and I couldn't log corrections. Add in the primary and secondary VE tables, RPM boundary corrections, etc...it gets really deep in a hurry.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostLooks good but honestly your tune sounds way way off, both idle and when you rev it.
