That will get you to 2 ohm like the OEM setup, but didn't the Monsoon amp filter everything?

    • Yes, it has a built in crossover.

Good point, not sure what you would do then.

Could you wire the woofers and tweeters seperately?

        • Working on cleaning the wheels up today

Sucks but theres no way a body shop is going to clean them to the extent I want them clean. Ive got the face of the wheel about 90% perfect, inside of the wheel just got started.

            • lets play a game called recommend me a camshaft.

I have a 224 224 112 right now, would mind a larger cam since I should have everything else I need.

              Torquer V2, yes no?

                  Agreed. ^

If you really want to go off the shelf something along the lines of this would be a good upgrade.

                  • I almost want something different, something that doesnt involve me spinning it 6500. I know it might be safe, I just feel better knowing its not screaming up there.

                    I have a EPS custom grind 230/236 I think?

                    • still using 98 heads?

                      Comment

                      • Yes I am using 98 heads. They have some work do the to them.

Im more concerned with a sick idle than a dyno number.
Will be keeping a safe 6300-6500 reg limiter.

Im more of an off the shelf fan. Any other recommendations ?

                        • Going to keep the cam and do some other things. Changing cams just isn't worth it at this point since I haven't really unlocked the potential of this 224/224/112. After doing some more research it should be all I need if the correct supporting mods are in place (and they currently are not)

Going to try the whistler mod again tomorrow hopefully.

Who has the best price on tubular A arm and upper control arms? I am looking at the NON lowering version. Go!

                          • What's your idle like now? I'm running the exact same cam, assuming it's a TR 224 112LSA. I have the LQ4 and 317 heads though.

I want to set the idle a bit lower than what is in the video, I think it's about 900 right now.

It looks I can get Spohn upper and lower for 520 ish.

                              • It sounds like it's searching for a decent idle...or is it just the video?
