Going to wait until I can afford a complete solution done once, done right. Probably a front to back stainless system.

put in two new O2 sensors. Keep getting a Bank 1 lean code and the car seems to be rich as it gets.

Would a vacuum leak cause my idle to go up then down then up then down?

Could -- get some starter fluid and shoot it around the engine and see if anything changes. If it's sucking in air, the starter fluid will change the idle when it gets sprayed by the source of the leak. Are the fans running like normal? Maybe the water temp sensor is bad?

Does it idle up and down all the time or just when you come to a stop or rev the engine?

My buddy traced the stopping/revving idle issue on his car down to being the intake air temp sensor. He relocated it to the cowl behind the wipers where it can draw fresh air (may have also remapped it in hptuners) and the problem went away.

                    • I am using the 85mm MAF so the temp sensor built into that. What about you Nate?

Fans run like any other LS1 car, loud, on before I want but I believe they are normal. Car stays around 160 ish.

Mostly when I come to a stop. Once it gets warm it idles better but its just a tiny bit off.

Still has that hesitation when you just nail it. Its odd, some times it doesnt do it and some times it does.

Its close but just not quite perfect. Codes that keep coming are are lean bank 1 and bank 2.
