I have but I believe it cost Kyle close to a grand to do the sunoco hood on his car. Im too much of a cheap ass for that kind of money on a hood.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostHave you thought about doing a sunoco hood?
I found a SS hood for 250 but it needs paint and its not an OEM SLP/GM hood. Ill keep mine until I find one that is exactly what I want.1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 6 Speed

I think id honestly prefer your stock hood over an SS in this case. Youve just got such a clean look going the SS hood would make it busy.-Joel

That it did. 700ish for the hood (can't remember the exact figure) and another few hundred for the initial bodywork and paint.

Spent Friday getting my exhaust finished up. Tips are on and 98% perfect. I am going to tweak them a little but its awesome and without a doubt I picked up some HP's. Car feels fast now
Yesterday morning had the traction control come on at 70 /top of 2nd. Its going to be a fun summer.
Scott and I detailed the car, came out pretty darn good. Very impressed with the harbor freight polisher.
Yesterday I had some help from Scott, Joel and some other friends to paint my brake calipers, rotors, and install my control arms. All in all it was a great day and we got a lot of work done. The car needs an alignment BAD but after I get that taken are of its time to have some fun!
Heres a few pictures, more will be posted when I clean the car up.
