Yeah, all of the foam is in really good shape except for the drivers seat. My Dad and I will be doing the rear with the split back. I have an upholstery shop that is going to cover the fronts and replace the foam where it needs it. Mainly the bolsters on the outsides.sigpic

From my understanding, it makes the foam swell and reduces wrinkles in the upholstery. We shall see. It should be a learning experience.sigpic

Steaming it makes the foam regain some life to it to say. It expands it so when you pit on the new covers you dint see them have any wrinkles amd they look tight. Even if seats aren't sat in the foam loses its form amd becomes weak steaming just helps reverse that so seat covers font look like shit installed. Same process with adding foam all the di is steam is cut out a piece of foam from a block wherever a repair is needed and glue it on then they trim it and skive it however necessary to reshape it back to factory settings. Yep. I looked around for a while. All the ones from Hawks that I found on TGO looked really good. I think they were the best bang for the buck I could find. They are pretty much identical to the factory leather/vinyl on the third gens.Originally posted by Gregs_gsxr View Postohhh got yea, will any clothing steamer work?

Yeah, I still have a few more things in the works too. Having a trans built, having my dash pad fixed, and a posi unit coming. Hoping the weather breaks in the next few weeks so I can get started on the t-top seals and headliner. The car should come out pretty good looking this spring. I was hoping to have the hood and the nose painted, but that isn't looking to realistic at the moment. I want to do a hood with blisters and the high rise spoiler and maybe some black heritage stripes. Big Jon has the hood, you have the deck lid and another member on here has the spoiler. I'm just waiting on the money tree to grow a few new branches, ya know? lolsigpic

I went with the summit drop springs and monroe shocks all the way around. For the money I think it was the way to go. Unless your planning on going road racing, I couldn't justify the money for some kyb's and eibachs.Originally posted by Gregs_gsxr View Postyou bought some things in the last month, cant wait to see it all come together, Im looking at springs and shocks now for minesigpic
