not much been happening lately, we did get the fuel rails and I should have some more mail today, possibly order the converter soon. Next steps are to get the pump and harness ready to sell and then prep the float assembly to go back in. Going to use one stock line for a return so have to order that fitting and then get some hose and a filter for the vent. Anything special I need to do to get the gas out of this tank?

You sumping it? I got mine done for dirt cheap and they sandblasted and steam cleaned the thing for a hundred bucks, and it looks like brand new. For my return i just put a russel quick connect on the factory 3/8 feed line.

And you got 3 or more people paying for this build? don't sound like a budget build to me, should go at least 8's i hope.

It has a -10 fitting welded to the back of the tank. We are returning it to the stock sender with a -8 line.

With the turbo it has now it wouldn't go 8's if you hooked a chain to a promod and dragged it down the track.

LMFAO I need to drink more this shit is getting comical... so you got multiple people paying for a build, on top of it are getting parts at a discounted price, and then you say its a budget build? Jesus must make my build a dollar general thrift store piece of shiiit. Then to top it off your going to say your "budget" turbo lsx is going to run 11's, jeez looks like I'm going to have to get a couple friends to help me rip my all factory lt1 out and do a budget build of myself to go even slower lol! Just admit it you guys are going for 9's and not 11's and ill stop busting your balls. There may be a few people on here stupid enough to believe that but I'm not. Those 5.3's with a snail on them can go fast as long as ray charles isn't drivin it.

You need to learn how to read there Junior...its a junkyard stock cube 5.3 with a 76mm chinese turbo on it. Stock computer, heavy ass car. If you think its gonna go 8's you need to sell everything you own car related and start knitting. I know you LT1 guys aren't that bright to begin with, but cmon. Get with the program here.

The only experience with turbos these two boys have is the little toy ones on their keychains. If this thing goes faster then Jeffs H/C setup the first time out, they should be proud of themselves. Its a huge learning curve and a completely different setup. And as for the money thing, its two guys that aren't exactly obsessed with this build. They both have bills to pay, one with a family to take care of. Whenever they have some extra cash/time, they dump some into that blue roach. It'll be done when its done, and it won't be anything spectacular, and they're not claiming otherwise.

There are two people paying for the parts, myself and Mike. We are doing this because we can't afford to build our own, hell its taking us a while to build it together. We don't have the experience or knowledge to go that fast yet I'm not afraid to admit that. If we had the cash we could upgrade a lot more stuff but we are working with what we have and prioritizing. You said it yourself do you even think a single a1000 will make enough power to propel a 3800lb car into the 9s? Sure I'd love to go faster but what we are doing right now is creating a good base of which we can build upon in the future.

Plain and simple I will be happy to go any faster than the car has already been, and nobody will have to worry about missing a beat here because all times and HP numbers will be posted for all to see.
