I fixed it the rest of the way

I haven't accomplished much in the past few days but I did pick up a few parts.

                    • Youre seriously going to go through all the work of changing roofs? Is your time not included in the 'on-a-budget?' I'd just put a cage in for the rigidity before Id mess with that

                      • id personally do it for looks. imo hardtops are way better looking. i personally never really liked my ttops it wasnt all that great with the sun beating done on you in the summer. the reason i had them is that the girlfriend liked them thats about it.

i personally wouldnt want the glass covering me if they decided to shatter on an impact but its his choice just my views of it.

                        • I usually autocross and road race with my t-tops off for that reason... see sig

I have not decided 100% on the roof swap, but I am not committed until I cut off the t-top bar. It looks like a bigger challenge than I thought but If I take it on, I am sure I will learn some things. Among other news, I am considering buying a 8 or 10 pt cage, they are much cheaper than I was told.

                            • id do it. tack the roof on; then tack the cage together than pull the roof off and fully weld it together it would make it very simple.

you'd get a cage and a hardtop thats a win win for sure.

                              • You found them cheaper, lol

the roof would be cool to see done but does seem like a lot of work. Part of it is about fun tho and cutting two cars up could be fun...
