So I've been doing some searches and I can't find a chrome air cleaner with "326" or "326-2" on it. All the ones I've found are for a four barrel engine and hence, say "326-4". Anyone know where I could find what I'm looking for? It doesn't sound like it ever came from the factory with a "326-2" cover, but I think it would be a nice touch. I already sent an email to emblem pros asking if they could make a new "326-2" decal to lay over the "326-4".
This is basically what I'm looking for, but with "326-2" on it.

The standard engines had a single snorkel style with this decal: https://www.yearone.com/Product/DisplayProduct/451sigpic

I would do the ebay chrome one w/ k&n 3" filter. You don't see many of the 1967 style snorkel cleaners still on the cars anymore because they were so restrictive.sigpic

I think the dual snorkel air cleaners look cool, but they don't have those for the 2V.sigpic

It was at least one year, and I believe it rained that year, could be wrong, have some faint memory of some people running around scrambling with a tarp or something? meh, who knows.
Should have your dad bring it this year fred.
For what its worth, id run a chrome one with the 326-2 sticker on it.1999 Camaro - 6 liters of fury.....
