    • Hi to all. Well I decided to get back on the forum and see how Fred went. Seems like it all went well. Well done Fred. Enjoy that beautiful bird and take good care of it.

      • Hey Claude!

We couldn't have got as far as we did without your help. We put about 30 miles on the car, changed the oil and then took it on a 1000 mile road trip with 50 other cars. It was an absolute blast. We ended up replacing the accelerator pump in the hotel parking lot. We suspect it failed due to the ethanol in today's fuel. We also replaced the voltage regulator and alternator, but we're still getting the "GEN" light... It's always something haha

By the way, you should stick around the site more!

        • Hey Fred.
Very impressed with all that good work you have done to your bird. Very nice work. If you are ever in Melbourne Australia- let me know- could use your handy hands on my birds.
Think I have already mentioned- I have 3 of them. Yes 1 wasn't enough- I had to get 3. I have some good contacts over there if you ever need any original parts for your bird Fred!
I have a pretty good bunch of original -various spare parts over here myself.
And yes I agree I should get on the forum more often- just been busy of late- but I will make more of an effort.
Enjoy that Bird and take care of it. Thanks for your generous compliments also- all the best.
          Claude
