The hood is really shinny now! But I wet sanded some more of the car, trying to get some good results.

What Jon said, keep in mind this was two rookies who had no idea what they were doing painting wise. It was a HUGE learning experience. I am taking this entire project with this in mind, I am not looking to really impress anyone, just a cleaner white car

I would really love to drive it soon tho, leaving these black lines in my driveway just isnt enough!

              • I think you are doing a GREAT job, not knocking on your experience level by any means I was just curious.

Believe me I know the feeling of wanting to drive it lol

                  • I was just thinking, maybe we should get the car assembled and done from the belt-line down first. That way, you can drive it while we are still finessing the upper half of the car

Yeah I agree, I have been working on that slowly... But remember I still have the whole spring issue to figure out, I was just trying to stay on top of one thing, As soon as I can paint the spoiler and get that on then I will go full blown assembly mode. I will hopefully have the interior back together Friday (however I forgot it was my brothers grad party which cuts into my working on car time). Realistically I am hoping another 2 weeks and I should be getting a windshield installed again
