Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

Thanks guys! I'm starting to get that sense of pride in the work I'm really liking the way they turned out. Still a 2-3 foot wheel tho but that's why I said 90% done.
What a transformation! Definitely like this scheme a lot more than what was on your old car. Nice work Darren and Jon!
what tires are you going with?
Thanks Fred I am hoping they look just as good on the car. I have front tires, still have no idea what to get for the rear... The fronts are Dunlop sport (something) 255 40 17... All ears for rears!!
Like Joel said, if you get 'em too "perfect" it'll be a pain in the a$$ keeping them up my pro stars are 3 footers as well. they were perfect once, now I just don't care enough to make them "perfect" but once or twice a year, in between I just wipe them off and call it good
Good, those paint fumes are very dangerous. I don't know of any painters who lived to be old. And you a dog that you have to raise, You can't be living on the wild side anymore
If your a painter by trade you must use an OSHA approved spray gun and if you are not in a filtered booth I think your only suposed to spray a max of 4 oz of liquid.
Its nothing super difficult if you are paining a solid color, like everyone said it is all in the preperation. I would consider spraying it in single stage opposed to base coat/clear coat.
Looks great Darren! Have you thought about clearing them when you're done polishing like Nate said?
Yes I have, however I have been told that I may need a special type of clear to adhere to the metal... I am still researching potential products to use and reading up on it. I still have two wheels to wet sand and polish so I have time, plus they are not going on the car anytime soon at the moment.
