Spraying the floor with water also keeps the floor from turning the color you are painting as well as keeping dust down.

Yeah, the nice thing about spraying the floor down is that it keeps down new dust/overspray as well as old dust. Because plastic is flexible, if any paint dries on it during the painting process (or any other contaminants get on it), it will flake off and fly around because of the plastic being flexible and moving as you walk on it.

Will do guys, thanks for the tips!
Came home from my mini vacation and got right back to work. The front nose is about ready to be primed and so are parts of the ground effects. Got the to side skirts to go still, but so far everything is looking good. I am still in need of the side pieces of the spoiler. Mine has a pretty good crack in it, I can try to fix it but getting one without a crack would be the best way.

Yeah it sucks I am running on very thin energy here, I go to work come home and go in the garage and work on one of the cars till early morning (I know Lisa doenst like it,
) and then repeat the next day. I am just trying to make the June 1st deadline, and I know we will run into some hurdles while painting the car. Although I am getting a little excited about spraying the car.

Yes, they are not OEM but the fitment is great and for the price you couldnt beat them.Originally posted by Gregs_gsxr View Postare those re-pops?
what's going on here?

Its getting so close! Had to leave the drivers side open so the car still can be moved. Next step is to build the paint booth and set the car in there right where we want it. Sealer and primer should be going on next week (I am out of town this weekend)!sigpic

It would chip off. I'd mask off behind the door anyway, or pull it off and paint the jams first.Originally posted by TylerT/AZ28 View Postmay wanna tape off your door springs n such. id think the paint would gum them up but i dont know for sure
