      Custom crap takes a little extra time not to mention this is kind of an "off-season" for gear heads to put a little extra strain on some of these suppliers. Marcella is currently building 7 intakes for Shawn at a week and a half clip per intake! Just going to get in line....

      Have been crazy busy at work to even think about the body shop...heading up to Tawas tomorrow to visit our plant and will have time on the road to do so then. The only reason I spoke to VSpeed today was because I was in between other calls....and they're in my contact list and wasn't going to pass up on ANY kind of update!

        Wow... Doesn't sound like your car will make the M&G this year... But it's going to be bad ass when done!

                  Yes, Cary is doing the heads. C5R style head. Dont think they make an intake for these other than a carb style or sheetmetal.

                    • no worries, i don't mind at all....helps me with the anticipation too! if everything goes as planned, we're thinking a early march install!

                      now that i know its going to be MONTHS before i see or hear anything power wise, i can start focusing on misc pieces and the purty stuff....and attempt to do it without spending anymore damn money!!!

                      after today's discussion, i have to "re-prioritize" purchases i planned on this winter for after the motor is done. lol, think the rear wheels will look funny on a stock rear intended for a 1" narrow? i need a sponsor

                      • Not much but another box checked off "the list". Got a great deal on a set of Z06 Brembo rotors off ebay...things are friggin HUGE. Almost funny compared to the stock caliper


                        14" across!!
