let me know when I can place my bet on the final #s not that they mean much as far as a total combination but I'm confident they will exceed all of your goals

Not much of an update but some progress...
Wheels will be done and shipped next week!
Spoke with Shawn last week. Talked heads, valve train, etc. Parts are slowly arriving!
Block is there. Rods and crank are just sittin' there waiting for pistons.....
. 6wks in and apparently the long lead in this process....might be a couple more before they get there.

Supplier progress today.....
Thanks to some local input, it feels like I'm going to send the T56 over to Liberty's for some "insurance" upgrades when we're ready. Saved a few bucks too!!
In the spirit of local sourcing, I also contacted DTS for a rear end set-up....exceptionally competitive pricing less the BS of shipping and will be more than bullet proof. Will save a few bucks there too!!
Probably won't pull the trigger on either for a month or so, but its nice to have the box's checked...
Clutch and fuel solutions are still "open"....
Did have one minor set back. Critical path to start tearing apart the above can't begin without the engine compartment work completed...local guy that I've had conflicting schedules with FINALLY came out today. So after talking to him for a month, showing him pictures, even a POWER POINT....he said, 'yeah, I think I'm gonna pass....'
So body work is "open" too....

What are you looking to do? The shop that did my car does LOADS of custom work, and they do it the right way.Originally posted by LPE 403 View PostSupplier progress today.....

Because I can't drive it, flat bedding it on the other side of town is going to be a PITA. I've got a buddy that owns a body shop, but I'm too cheap (I really am!) to flat bed it across town!! Wife has been consistant from the start in having him do it...today reinforced it, lol. I'll probably call him tomorrow...have a feeling she's gonna be right. First time though!Originally posted by OIF1VET View PostSweet on the good!!! Sorry about the clown passing after wasting a month of your time..
Fikse just shot me an email....thanks to my CTS-V calipers, its going to be another couple weeks before I see the wheels. Where's the CC....

Call 'em up and ask for Bill Jagenow. They work on referral only so tell them you got their name from "Fred with the Red Trans Am that they painted recently"

Heads are on order too....BUT another 5 weeks to complete!!!
