      I did find a VSpeed set-up that might keep you content until the real deal comes along... Water pump is different (I'm going with Mezierre), not sure if the intake is for an fbody (but it is a Marcella) and these were the original heads (PI LS7), but that's changing now ...block and ATI pulley is correct though, lol.

                what heads did you switch to? Cary's mozes heads seem to be the best in the business.

                  Don't worry Jeff, they will have Cary's blessing. Now that the intake restriction has been eliminated, I'm going to take advantage in the opportunity to improve the head. Per their suggestion, it appears we're headed towards a set of C5R's. I think I have officially reached "overkill" .

                  Cam shaft still hasn't been chosen, though there is a plan . My requirement has been consistant in that I don't want to spin this thing past 7k to see a number, nor something that punishes the valve train. I'm trying not to lose focus in that this is still going to be a "street car"....

                            Got nothin' Larry. Horsepower #'s climbed to new heights with the C5R head direction and new cam choices but still in wait mode as parts still trickle in. Things might get a little more entertaining in a couple weeks...wheels should be in, short-block should be in progress, body shop should be lined up and working on engine compartment, etc.

                              what kind of goals do you have for this whole setup? I would assume 600rwhp or so from this combo with the heads and intake setup. Street car that will see the track or just a cruiser?

                                3 months ago, I told myself I wasn't going to shoot for a number but more of a combo that worked for my application which is street cruiser/bruiser. Can't help to admit 600rwhp was a target. Fast forward to now, a couple discussions with Shawn and a few changes later, they speculate the number will be in the DEEP 6XX's....
