DataMaster sir. I haven't looked into TunerPro. I did a write up under the How To Section how to do it on Datamaster.

If you purchase TunerCat Datamaster comes with it =p. I heard Datamaster records more things.

        • It'd definitely be interesting to see a side by side comparison between the two. TunerPro datalogs and tunes, you just have to use TunerCats WinFlash to upload the tune. Dad and I wanted to keep using DataMaster for our logs but we ran out of the trials recordings.

            • UPDATE:

Speed Density Open Loop tune is looking pretty damn good. Who needs o2s and a MAF right?

Probably gonna hit the track tomorrow and see what I can lay down with new tires and a much better tune.
After the track going to install ABS delete and linelock. Would do it today but if I get stuck or don't get it right... least the car is working good right now haha.

              • Well since the weather is suppose to be crappy probably gonna start on the ABS delete/Line Lock install.

Also since I am running Speed Density Open Loop tune, I am probably just going to run an open filter mounted directly to the intake. Before making the switch for sure I datalogged the IAT sensor with the CAI and I am going to datalog again when I get the filter setup on and see what the difference is in the IAT.

ABS deleted and line lock all wired in. Finally done with that.

                  On to the next step.

                    • The linelock its self is easy. If you know how to double flare... hahaha. Read the thing about double flare. The wiring is on wire goes to ground, other through the firewall to the button, button to switch, switch to fuse and power, switch to led, led to ground.

I used the cigarette lighter as they said to in the instructions.

I got mine with the ABS delete kit from SJM Manufacturing.

                      • UPDATE:

Getting knock at tip in, and under heavy acceleration, I believe its false knock cause I have already lowered the spark tables.

Also after finishing my linelock/ABS delete I didn't feel like messing with the cold air intake so I attached the filter directly to the MAF (I'm not even using the MAF). I datalogged IATs with the CAI on and now just did them without. With the CAI it sat around 17 to 18c. With just the filter strapped to the MAF the highest it hit was 17c. Mostly sits around 15c. This is with both logs at 80c engine coolant temp.

Temp on the 28th for the CAI was average of 42 degrees. Right now its 50 degrees outside. So it seems unless you do some opening for the CAI its not really that great.

                        • What's the spark advance range you're carrying on yours? I was surprised when I saw my spark advance is down in the 19-23s

                          • For what KPA and RPM?

I just pulled more timing and it seems better but still saw some knock. I was just revving it in the driveway.

                              • This is why I think its false. Headers open or closed its giving knock. And now I have the tables extremely low haha.

I'm gonna try resetting it to factory table.

I wondering if the timing is to low so its not completely burning the fuel in the combustion chamber so its finishing combustion as the exhaust valve opens allowing the KS to pick it up thinking its knock.
