    • just picked up a center console lid from Mike (my1994z28), so now I don't have to pick the thing up whenever I want to get something out lol. once I get a paycheck, I'm going to take it to a shop to see if I can get my ABS and power windows. I want to actually cruise with the tops off and the windows down for once.

          • I did a little wrenching today, and discovered that one of my EGR hoses was disconnected. I hooked it back up, and hopefully that will fix the mysterious noise the car developed on Saturday. I also put on the new console lid, so I for the first time on that car, I actually have one that works. woot!

also, quick question. This is the only major defect in any of my leather:

is there a way to seamlessly patch/repair this spot?

            • When you put 10 gallons in how empty was the tank? 10 gallons is 62.5% the size of the tank so if you had a few gallons in there then 3/4 full isn't that unbelievable... 12 gallons would be 3/4 full (16 gallon tank IIRC)

It read 3/4 full before I put 10 gallons in the (15.5 gallon) tank. It should've read between 1/4 and 1/2

Ah - misread. Btw if you need any help installing the power window motor just let me know. I've done both sides on mine.

I'll probably take you up on that offer. I'm doing both of them while I'm at it. Gotta order them first though.

                          • thinking about rocking these:

guy wants $395 for them, but I can get brand new 17" C6 Z06s for the same price (albeit before shipping). What do you think?
