I didnt take any pics. I seen what they had and the lip was just horrible. I have pretty low standards compared to many, and I rejected them instantly. I am assured I will have them back by Friday at 5, we will see. lol.

Only pics I can give ya are the three wheels taped off before I dropped them off. The corners were the most difficult but they will turn out fine now that I'm keeping the silver lip.

Some of the dents like this I was unable to get out, hopefully the black covers it up.

Hopefully the next pics you see have a camaro in them

        • I wonder if those white "donut" sticker things that we used back in middle school to repair pages from our binder that ripped out (anyone know what I'm talking about???) would have worked well for the corners if you cut them?

            • I dropped them off Sunday night. They only do work in the shop M-Th so I didnt want to suck up one of their days.

              • Today is the day.

                Goals:
Fixing the oil leak so I am taking the opti/ timing cover off to replace all gaskets and seals.
                Put Z28 badges back on.
                Pick wheels up finally.
                Finish rear calipers/ brakes.
                Install new bump stops

In the near future: search for vacuum leak, my vent control sucks(takes forever / doesnt always work) and it feels like my heat is generated by a mouse fart.
                Get wheels on car
Return Joel's wheels/ learn how to detail.

Switching it up and running Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 this year as well.

Ill post some pics up some time.

                  • Too late now but they make an 1/8" fine line tape that is made out of a plastic material vs masking tapes paperish, if that makes sense lol. Rims should look pretty sweet! Maybe I missed it but where did you take them? Coming along good Nate!

                        • Did work and had a successful day. Scott came over and helped out all day, big thanks to him. Got the opti off and it was pretty clear what gasket the oil leak was coming from. Changed a couple other seals too, left some that were dry/no oil around. Got it all back together and it runs perfect with no issues.

I also got my wheels, couple of pics for ya. I am happy with the result

                          Stay tuned...
