Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I bought my old 93 Z28 back, now it needs some TLC
I was just looking at DDM for 15 bucks you can get new bulbs. I would do it instead of trying some Macgyver job on them.
Also are you running these in stock housings?
Yes, nick said he ran them in his with no issues. (people flashing)
$15 for new bulbs, $20 to ship.

Hm, I'd like to see what they look like done.
Just sell the bulbs to someone who needs 9006 bulbs. Lots of cars use that I know my Saturn was 06 in the lows and 07 in the highs.

I used DDM HIDs in my fusion and they were junk. I put it back to stock because half the time they wouldnt fire, and even when they did I had to turn the lights on before I started the car and let them warm up or they wouldnt get enough juice to fire. Battery 100% health, and then I tried the direct relay harness and that kept blowing my headlight fuses for reasons i couldnt figure out. Oh, that and of the 4 bulbs/ballasts i got, 1 of each was bad out of the box.
Edit: And all this was after I spent days trying to find a better vendor and came up with nothing but the $600+ Ford kit. In hindsight i should have just bought that.

I have never wasted my time or money on fancy HID kits. Have them in every vehicle aside from the CJ. I always hop on eBay and buy the cheapest I can, never had a bad ballast, and JUST replaced my first bulb in my DD that sees a ton of night driving after 5 years.

Funny..I am either thinking ZR1's or multi spoke like those R505's. But the ones I was looking at are from AZA or something like that. Craig I think his name is? Had a 98 NVM bird before he sold it for a mustang..he had some black/polished lip 18's that looked great.

I got the hid's silicones into the housing. Plugged one in lastnight. These *****es are bright! And white just like I wanted (thanks to Purple94Z28 suggestion of the 4500k).
also got the rings all set, just need to get another level off my old header panel.
I should have my wheels sold this week. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the Miro's. thinking of doing something a bit different though to make them one of a kind. Have weldcraft widen the rears to 10.5 or 11s. Then possibly have them machine the lip (depending on what the wheel is made out of). I can't say I have seen another lt1 with these Miro's

Sounds goofy but I like to know what my car looks like as other cars drive towards it.
Not yet, we only popped it in too see what it looked like before I siliconed them in. Probably have a picture tomorrow
I agree, I like to see what my car looks like rolling as well as the exhaust driving by.
