• Looks good man. Curios as to what this weight is, I didn't cut anything off mine.

      • Yeah I found out it would just barely miss if you didn't cut anything off. I cut one and said screw it might as well cut both.

Joel it would take forever with a hacksaw. You need either a die grinder which is still hard, or a chop saw.

I meant to say sawzall. im going to leave mine until one of you guys try out the difference. Seems like an easy weight reduction that would even help with unsprung weight.

                    • Joel it would suck with a sawzall too. I started with a die grinder and it blew, so I busted out the chop saw. You can try, but I have a chop saw so if you give up just let me know and we can use the chop saw

                      • Picked up the new used interior today!

                        - charcoal carpet
                        - trunk carpet
                        - hatch plastics
                        - rear cargo area plastics
                        - large quarter panel plastics
                        - dome light
                        - loaded door panels.

The only thing I didn't get was the kickpanels (sold already), but, since I have an extra set I'm going to see if I can match the interior color and this well help out for my pillar pods too.

They are all in charcoal and in MINT condition. Big thanks for hooking me up Sean ( kammi10 )

Hopefully be able to swap most over tonight.

Anyone need some freshly painted door panel bezels and switch plates?

                        • I'm going to be ordering probably next month 2/3 gauges that you purchased. Did you buy the extended wire harness with either the trans temp or fuel pressure?... Anything extra you had to purchase to wire the gauges up or does Glowshift come with everything? I'm going to go with just the 7 color non tinted.

Yes get the 3 wire kit TOTALLY worth the few extra bucks. I didn't need to buy anything other than the fittings through the local parts store for the fuel pressure sensor to hook up to the fuel rail. Also, you will need to weld a bung to the trans pan for the sensor to hook up as well. I just bought a deep pan that had a drain and bung for trans temp. The only thing I disliked about the install is there is a TON of wires you have to route between your windshield pillar and the plastic pillar. It is kinda tricky but doable. I zip tied mine all together. Look back a few pages at the pics and you'll understand.

Edit: it wouldn't be a bad idea to pick up some extra 14gauge wire. I think I still didn't have enough with the kit. But the kit makes it nice cause they are all color coded and gets you them ran to the firewall then you can extend them from there and keep all your connections inside the car vs in engine bay and exposed to outside elements. Hope that helps!

                              • Got it mostly back together lastnight. Relized I had a lot more gray parts than I thought. Still need seatbelts.

Still need to do the hatch plastics, doam light, seats and belts. Hopefully pick up some belts from Sean this weekend. Needs a god cleaning too!
