I have no clue what that is
But, I don't think it's the LEDs as much as the cluster. I think it's just the placing of the bulbs. These are the same style of LEDs that alot if guys are running. If you look at the close up in the cluster it's really between 3-5k and 85mph-105mph. IMO

Hard to believe this car used to look like that! AMAZING work man, well done. You should be very proud.Originally posted by mcalus View PostWell here is the story if you haven't seen my other thread.
This was my first Camaro at age 17. It was a 1993 Chevrolet Z28 Camaro. I purchased it for $4,500. I loved the thing, at the time. Well it was time to move on to a better car after owning it for just over a year.
The car was MINT, i had taken very good care of it (oil changes, washing/waxing, vacuum, etc)
I bought it with 89,xxx miles on it. This is what she looked like

I did a few small things, tint, caliper paint, EBAY (yeah i know) intake, and I cut the muffler off (sounds great). Thats pretty much it. I didn't have extra money to dump into it.
Well my buddy was real interested in the car and I knew I wanted a LS1. Well I ended up selling it to him, for $4,000 with 112,xxx miles on it.
.... Here is what it looks like after 2 years and 23,xxx miles later.

Tach jumps around. Same as the other people I have been hearing with issues. Everything else looked okay tho.
I have read that the problem relies on the computer. 94 it switched from EPROM to ?? But the rpm is ran off the coil and some "filter" needs to go inline? Pretty clueless???
Any help is appreciated.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Supposedly a straight swap, IP connector is the same and none of the gauges moved.

Big thanks Michael! Just swapped them over and all is good!!!!Originally posted by hoogiesngrinderz View PostSupposedly a straight swap, IP connector is the same and none of the gauges moved.
Look where the tach plugs in, you can see the difference. To the right. One has a big white thing the other is a small resistor or diode.

Got the dash all put back together... Again.
Also got my gauges in the mail today.
The more I mess around looking at this pod its going to be a pain to mold but I think I'm up for the challenge.
The yellow tape is approximately where I'll need to cut.

The plastic covering is still on the face.

Now I have the gauges I can do my new trans pan swap.
Question: I haven't even taken the other gauges out of the box but will my fuel pressure gauge go into the port on the fuel rail where you check the pressure? (noobie)
Other question: my only issue with cluster is the security light is on. I was going to pop out the bulb but didn't want my car to not start one day on account of a vats issue or something and have the light on and not know it was/is on.Last edited by mcalus; December 19th, 2012, 06:13 PM.2002 Z28 Camaro A4

I have seen that before but have never tried it.
How would know what my code is if the SES light blinks 3 times? Fill a brother in
Edit: i think I get it. It's going to blink a certain amount of times and lengths correct? Let me go try itLast edited by mcalus; December 19th, 2012, 07:48 PM.2002 Z28 Camaro A4
